My cousin Jeannie called me up one day and said "Autumn I want to take dance lessons". I laughed and said "why? You don't need to dance." But she insisted it would be fun. So I drove to Houston that weekend and we looked around for some dance studios.

I never realized that ballroom dancing in Houston had become so popular. I guess it made sense with Dancing With The Stars and other shows on all the time. Maybe we'll get Pimp My Ballroom or something next year. But anyway Jeannie and I drove around to all the dance studios and she finally picked one that we thought was nice.

When you go dancing in Houston for the first time you get a little lost. After all, no one really has a complete guide to all the great dancing venues. Jeannie and I went to several ballroom events before she had to get married and leave Houston. Jeannie I miss you baby! Say Hi to Shane!
